FEEL GOOD FRIDAY!
This video presentation piece was created for internal viewing only by of the (awesome) "Friday Group" as an entertainment during the Sales & Marketing department's Christmas party in 2018 (and competition entry) and was not published publicly. The theme/goal was to create a music video of any 80's song. We decided to go for a light and feel good concept and go for the song "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" By Wham!
From there, I made the script/storyboard that focuses on the good vibes "Friday" brings us (which is perfect as we are also the Friday Group), specially for those who works in the corporate world who looks forward to weekends. Who doesn't get that "Friday" energy knowing there's no work tomorrow, right? The story revolves around the main character who is feeling excited and super happy all throughout the day, daydreaming and spreading a contagious joy around his work place. The color treatment and costumes separates the reality to the day-dream (80s). Well if you decide to watch this, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
I worked on the storyboard/script, direction, choreography, cameraman (using gopro hero4) and video editing (Adobe Premiere), and was even part of some dance scenes (thanks to my trusty tripod). It took 1 full day to shoot all the clips and 3 days to edit. We bagged 1st Place with this piece, btw.
Thanks to the awesome & energetic Friday Group "Jitterbugs" casts: Jan Jeff T., Alain I., Rouise R., Diana L., Aimee V., and our dearest Mamu Chris!

DEADLY OBESSION
This video presentation piece was created for internal viewing only by of the "Brave Bakers" as an entertainment during the Sales & Marketing department's Christmas party in 2019 (and competition entry) and was not published publicly. The goal was to create a music video with "The Great Gatsby"/1920s/Jazz era theme. We then decided to make a short musical film and go for the song "Puttin' on the Ritz" by Taco.
From there, I made the script/storyboard revolving around a love triangle that involved gangster leaders set in the 1920's. It's a mix of dance and story that caused a violent rivalry between 2 gangs. But wait there's more.... Watch if you want to know the full story. ;) I did a reverse story telling, showing only the end scene in the beginning to arouse curiosity.
I worked on the storyboard/script, direction, choreography, cameraman (using gopro hero4) and video editing (Adobe Premiere), and was even part of some scenes as extra ;). It took 1.5 days to shoot all the clips and 3 days to edit.
Thanks to the talented "Brave Bakers" casts: Alain I., Santi S., Camille H, Krisha, Keisha, Mother Christy and Mamu Chris!
